Audit Management Software: Audit Results
There are three response to an audit question:
- Acceptance: the response states congruence between plan and actual.
- Rejection: a non-conformance was discovered.
- Observation: this is no non-conformance, but has some criticality and its correction would be an improvement.
The result is entered by clicking into the according check box.
Audit Results: Acceptance
When an auditor agrees that a process is performed in line with what was plan, then the audit question is passed. The auditor will check acceptance. After checking acceptance the audit can add any acceptance comments. For instance, an explanation of the reason for acceptance.
Audit Results: Rejection
When an auditor disagrees that a process is performed in line with what was plan, then the audit question has failed. The auditor will check rejection. Of course, you need to enter more comprehensive details when rejecting. Additionally, you can initiate a corrective action request.
Audit Results: Observation
An observation is a situation that on the one hand is not a nonconformance, but on the other hand is not as it should or could be. Therefore it should be investigated further. You can define the observation types to select from in this screen.
