Approving Document Change Request

Whether a new document shall be added or a document change request was create, both have to be reviewed and approved. This step involves the reviewing and approval of the Document Change Request by designated persons in the company. To begin this process the user will click on the Approvers Review DCR and Accept/Reject DCR icon from the main DOC9000 Navigator. Approvers select a document which opens the approval screen as shown.

To approve a name, highlight the desired name and click on the Approve Selected Name... Button. The approval dialog will come forward next. The user can then type in their user name and password to mark acceptance or rejection.
Once the user has entered the User Id and password, they can click on the OK button and the Approve/Reject dialog box comes up.
For this dialog choose the Approve Document Change Request or Reject Document Change Request options and then type comments as required. If you reject the Document Change Request, then comments are necessary. After this screen, the e-mail dialog will come forward.
