Document Control Software: Cross Reference
The Cross Reference tab allows for the identification of all other documents referenced in the selected document. This is extremely valuable, as changes to one document often necessitate changes to others and this provides for easy identification of referenced documents.
Note that the documents are split into two sections. The top half shows which documents are directly referenced by the parent document. That is, it is most likely that somewhere in our document the cross referenced documents are listed. The bottom section shows the reverse. That is, somewhere in the cross references documents our document is listed or mentioned.
