Non-Conforming Material Request

If you find a defect during an inspection that requires disposition from a material Review Board (MRB), you can generate a Nonconforming Material Record (NCMR). The Non-Conforming Material Request documents the requirements and any discrepancies in meeting these.

• Requirements: A list of specifications for the parts being inspected. Normally you would just type in those specifications that were violated and caused the NCMR to be generated.
• Reason for NCMR: The list of discrepancies -- basically what you found that caused the lot to be rejected and the NCMR created.

When saving the NCMR an email opens to inform the NCMR Administrator on the non-conforming material.
