Planning Actions
Based on the discovered defects you will consider actions to correct the defect and the disposition of non- conforming products. These are recommended here for subsequent approval.
- Short Term Containment Action: The field holds any containment actions that serve as immediate remedy.
- Long Term Final Actions: This field contains corrective actions that ensure that the concern will not occur again. Note: As we will see later you can switch to the CAS9000 Corrective Action module to more extensively manage your corrective actions. To do so press the button "initiate a CA Request".
- Responsibility: Assigns responsibility for taking actions
- NC Cause Code: Assigns a defect category or Non-Conforming Cause Code to the concern
- NCMR Owner: The person who owns the Non-Conforming Material Request.
