Quality Control Software: Overview
As part of the JKT9000 family of quality management software modules, QCS9000 is the quality control system (inspection and control of non-conforming material). This programme is designed to help maintain control over processes that are being inspected for any type of defects.
Where non-conformities are discovered you need to ensure that appropriate action is taken such as reworking, acceptance by concession, alternative application or rejection. To make such decisions you need to assign responsibility and authority.
The solution of QCS9000 controls quality inspections. To do so incoming and in-process inspections are defined and all non-conformities discovered herein are reported to the Material Review Board (MRB) for decision making. QCS9000 also contains an interface to the corrective actions of CAS9000.

The Workflow of the Navigator in QCS9000, Quality Control Software
QCS9000 uses a Navigator which includes a brief workflow of the steps being subject to document control. To enter any of these steps the users just clicks the icon.
Functions of QCS9000, Quality Control Software

- user can recommend containment and corrective actions based on non-conforming material (interface to CAS9000 provided to request corrective actions).
- decide within Material Review Board on recommended corrective actions and the disposition of non-conforming material.
- allows graphing of attribute style SQC Charts (SQC = Statistical Quality Control).
- provides real-time alarms to alert operators to out-of-control situations.
- maintains and prints distribution lists.
- provides real-time on-line data summary window to show current yields, defect PPM levels and paretos of problem defect codes, locations and component part numbers.
- provides tabular reporting on yields and defects by process, product and component part number.
- field names of the screens can be altered to suit your individual company language.
- provides user definable fields.
- all users get their information relevant to their needs by email.

Next to these standard system reports which might cover the basic needs the user has the option to create 'custom reports'.
