QEI Exec Project Management Software: Structures

 The hierarchical database in QEI Exec makes creating project structures second nature - the product also provides a set of tools for displaying structures the way you want to see them.

The diagram above shows a chart in the standard example QEI Exec database which illustrates some of the key features of breakdown structures:
  • You can display any arbitrary selection of activities on an SBC (structure breakdown chart), from any of the breakdown structures in the database.
  • You can lay out the data by hand on the sheet, or let QEI Exec assist in producing a structure automatically.
  • The box style of each activity can be set individually; the data displayed for each activity can be customised for all activities on the sheet.
  • The sheet can be as large as required to hold the data, and the user can zoom in to any portion as required.
  • The sheet can be scaled for printing as a single sheet of paper, or broken up into multiple sheets where the paper handled by the output device is smaller than the sheet size.
  • Right-clicking on an activity which appears on several sheets in the database allows you to navigate quickly via the "Also appears on.." function.
