Milestone Slip Charts
This screen shot demonstrates how QEI Exec can be used to generate other non-standard views of project status. In this example a macro was written in the AMPS macro language to read data held in the database and generate the chart with the QEI drawing functions.
The diagram above shows a milestone slip chart developed for a customer. The horizontal axis displays a timescale like a normal barchart. The vertical axis also represents time, with each line across the chart representing a particular report date.
The chart is read from top to bottom, and allows you to see at a glance how dates have changed for each of the milestones being tracked as the project progresses.
