Risk Management Software: Risk Analysis
Risk Register allows a comprehensive analysis of risks and treatments.
The risk analysis is divided into eight groups of information:
Risk Assessment: Risk assessment is the original assessment of likelihood and consequence when the risk is recorded.
Risk Category: This shows the risk category you are working with, and the acceptable risk rating you need to achieve.
Effect of Treatments Completed: This means the effect of completed treatments as a percent reduction in the likelihood or consequence rating. Any risk transfer is also included in the consequence reduction.
Effect of all Treatments (Completed and Scheduled): The effect of all treatments (completed or not) as a percent reduction in the likelihood or consequence rating. Any risk transfer is also included in the consequence reduction.
Residual Ratings of Treatments Completed: This box shows the effect of completed treatments on the likelihood, consequence and risk rating.
Residual Ratings of all Treatments (Completed and Scheduled): This box shows the effect of all treatments (completed or not) on the likelihood, consequence and risk rating.
Status: The status provides information on reporting, reviewing, and closing dates and the status of a risk.
Financial: The financial information about a risk is the financial display before and after treatments:
Retained Risk = Potential Loss + Treatment Costs - Treatment Benefits
- Retained Risk is the risk retaining after implementation of treatments.
- Potential Loss is a financial expression of the consequence.
- The treatment costs are the sum of all completed treatment costs.
- The treatment benefits are the sum of all completed treatment benefits.
